Ashantigold coach Yakubu Mambo says the club's main target is to win the 20129/20 Ghana Premier League.
The Miners are enjoying a good start to the campaign after winning their opening two games of the season.
The 'Aboakese' lads beat regional rivals King Faisal 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday with coach Mambo describing the victory as 'positive history.'
“I told my boss that we are going to make history after today’s game. If you win you make history, if you lose you will still make a history," he said after the game.
“And the history are negative and positive history. If you lose you make negative history and if you win you make a positive history. I’m very happy we were able to make the positive history by winning this game”
”I’m not going to lie to you. Our target is to win the league. And we are working very hard towards achieving our goals."
The 2015 Ghana Premier League champions return home to play Eleven Wonders on Match Day 3.
