Former Ashanti Gold head coach Kasim Gökyildiz has safely arrived in his country, Turkey after terminating his contract with the club.
Coach Gökyildiz was shown the exit door after a meeting with the club’s president, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong on Thursday evening.
He left the shores of the country immediately after he was relieved off his duties by the Miners and his air tickets were taken care off by Dr kwaku Frimpong after reaching an agreement.
The UEFA License 'A' holder was appointed earlier this year following the departure of Brazilian coach Ricardo Da Rocha last year.
According to reports in the local media, the Ghana Premier League side agreed to compensate the former Adana Dermirspor youth coach for an amount around $5000.
Ashgold are set to appoint a new head coach in the coming days.
Ashanti Gold will a make a short trip to Kumasi to take on regional rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday in match week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
