Premier League club Ashanti Gold are set announce the appointment of Brazilian coach Ricardo Da Rocha as the new head coach of the club following the departure of Kjetil Zachariassen.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands the Obuasi based club are in advance talk with the former Ebusua Dwarfs Coach and could reach an agreement with the Brazilian in the coming days.
His appointment follows the departure of coach Kjetil Zachariassen who signed for Kumasi Asante Kotoko a week ago.
The former player of Lazio and Cesena is expected to sign a two year deal with the Miners.
Da Rocha was the head coach of the national team of Cape Verde in 2007 and has also coached Hager Club of Saudi Arabia.
He will guide the team to compete in the CAF Confederation Cup and the Ghana Premier League
