Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has been caught in a state of quagmire over his future as his loan deal with Real Mallorca expires on the same day as his Chelsea contract, meaning the Ghanaian could be "left in no man's land".
It's been a frustrating career for the 25-year-old, which has been littered with recurrent injuries.
The Ghana international joined Chelsea in a high-profile move back in 2015 but made just 23 appearances in five-years.
He has been shipped out on loan on four occasions, including two spells at German side Schalke, one at French outfit Reims and lately Real Mallorca.
However, the sunhas reported that the injury-prone left-back is facing a confusing time at Mallorca as he could be left without a club by the end of June 30 as his contract with parent club Chelsea comes to an end.
Rahman has featured just three times for the Spanish side, who have contacted the West Londoners for an extension of his loan deal until the end of the month.
It's almost certain Chelsea will not offer him a fresh contract due to his injury history and could affect him getting a new team.
The La Liga campaign gets underway this weekend with Mallorca hosting Barcelona on Saturday without the Ghanaian, who is out injured.
