Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr Mark Noonan, has said one of the major objectives of the team is to beat arch rival Kumasi Asante Kotoko each season.
He said, beating Kotoko each season was one of the three major objectives of Hearts of Oak and they would do everything possible to achieve that.
Mr. Noonan, who said this during the unveiling of the club’s new Sporting Director and first team head coach stated, “the foundation we are building and the expectation of Hearts of oak is first to beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko, lift trophies locally and finally to conquer Africa on the international scene.
“It doesn’t matter who is in charge as a coach or a sporting director, but with our goals and philosophy, everyone we bring on board should share same aspirations and goal,” he said.
Coach Kim Grant was officially unveiled as the new Sporting Director and first team coach on a three year contract and was expected to start work from 1st December, 2018, as there was no active football in Ghana.
