Berekum Chelsea's Chief Executive, Obed Nana Nketia, has received a GHC 20,000 fine from the Ghana Football Association's Disciplinary Committee due to misconduct during a recent Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko.

The committee determined that he attempted to forcibly enter the officials' dressing room with supporters, assaulted a police officer, and incited fans against security personnel.
The fine must be paid within 10 days and is intended to address behavior deemed unacceptable, which endangered the safety of match officials and security staff. Nketia has also been warned that any future misconduct may result in more severe penalties.
His actions have attracted considerable attention, especially as Berekum Chelsea is currently performing well, sitting fifth in the league after nine matches. The club and Nketia have not yet issued a public statement regarding the ruling.
