Black Queens midfielder Grace Asantewaa left Accra on Thursday night to Spain to join Iberdrola side EDF Logroño.
She becomes the second player from Ampem Darkoaa Ladies to sign for a Spanish club after Princella Adubea.
Asantewaa had to delay her trip to feature in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifier against Gabon.
She was named best player in the Normalisation Committee Women's special competition.
