Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu asserts that the challenges faced by the Black Stars cannot be attributed solely to coaching issues. Head coach Otto Addo is under increasing scrutiny due to a series of unsatisfactory performances from the national team.

Despite calls for Addo and his coaching staff to be replaced due to these results, Agyemang Badu emphasizes that coaching is not the only factor at play.
He believes that dismissing Addo would not resolve the underlying problems; with adequate support, Addo could significantly contribute to the team's success.
Badu stated, "If we allow him more time to acclimate and fully grasp the situation, I am confident he can make a substantial impact.
He has acknowledged the difficulties and significant challenges he faces." He pointed out that with five coaching changes in six years, it is improbable that coaching alone is the root cause of the team's struggles.
He warned that hiring a new coach without addressing the fundamental issues would likely yield the same disappointing outcomes. "If we replace him and the new coach also faces challenges after a few games, will we just fire him again? Ghanaians need to rally behind him; we must support the Black Stars and the GFA."
Badu reiterated his unwavering support for Addo, stating, "He has my complete backing, and we must give him the opportunity to demonstrate his capabilities."
Ghana is set to resume international play in November, seeking qualification for the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco, with matches against Angola in Luanda on November 15 and a home game against Niger Republic three days later.
