Black Stars don’t have quality to qualify for 2025 AFCON – Agyemang-Badu

Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu criticized the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), stating the team lacked the necessary quality.

Despite a 1-1 draw against Angola, Ghana’s chances were dashed. Agyemang-Badu expressed frustration, emphasizing that the team has been celebrating mediocrity and not addressing deeper issues.

He believes the team’s shortcomings were evident from the start, and their performance showed they were not ready for AFCON.

Ghana will finish their qualifiers with a home match against Niger on Monday.
