The senior national team, the Black Stars held its first training session today at the Estadio Nacional 12 De Julho ahead of their second 2021 African Confederations Cup (AFCON) qualifying game against Sao Tome and Principe on Monday, November 18, 2019.
Black Stars who beat South Africa by 2:0 at Cape Coast Stadium in the first qualifying game touched down safely in Sao Tome and Principe and held a light training session ahead of tomorrow's game in a bid to record two wins from two games.
Reports reaching GNA sports indicate that the team would set off from Sao Tome and Principe immediately after the game, as the match has been rescheduled to take off at 13 hours GMT instead of the earlier 16 hours.
Our reports further states that all players are in good health and the technical handlers would have a slight shake off and ball juggling session as coach Kwesi Appiah and assistant Charles Akonnor to monitor from the touchline.
The game would have an all Congolese officials affair as Referee Jessie Oved Nkounkou mvoutpu would take the centre stage and assisted on both flanks by Styven Daniel Moutsassi Moyo and Beaudred Ntsele Roul as assistant referee one and two respectively, with Lazard Tsiba Kamba as the fourth referee.
Ghana sit second in Group C with same points as leaders Sudan who have superior goal aggregate as South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe complete the table respectively.
