Black Stars midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana set for Atalanta return

Ghana international Ibrahim Sulemana is attracting interest from Serie A side Atalanta BC for the 2024/25 season.

Discussions between Atalanta and Cagliari are advancing, with an agreement for the midfielder's transfer nearing completion. Sulemana impressed in his debut season at Cagliari, joining from Hellas Verona after their promotion to Serie A.

The 21-year-old started 16 games, made five substitute appearances, and scored two goals in the 2023/24 season. His performances earned him a call-up to the Ghana national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

A move to Atalanta would mark a return to his first Italian club.
