Jerome Boateng, former Bayern Munich central defender, has just signed for Olympique Lyonnais, where he arrives for free after leaving the German team.
In his presentation, the questions about his reunion with Messi, many will remember the dribble that Leo did to him at the Camp Nou, have been one of the main topics. He has been clear in his response: "I have good and bad memories of my games against Messi. I don't know if someone has only good memories of facing him."
He is not a newbie. He begins his new adventure in Ligue 1, but he knows that in football, anything can happen: "Now I play with OL. All games start 0-0.
"What I know, after my experience at Bayern and in the national team, is that by working as a team everything is possible, you can achieve all your goals."
Boateng was left without a team in July. For several months he had sounded for many teams, but he has finally decided to accept the proposal of Olympique de Lyon, with whom he could make his debut once the selection window is over.
