Former President John Dramani Mahama is urging the Black Stars of Ghana to give off their best and bring back the trophy in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.
The senior national team for almost four decades have not been able to win the trophy and the last time they got close was winning silver after being defeated by Ivory Coast during the finals.
But the former President who believes the Black Stars can make a difference, tweeted:
#BringBackthecup. The AFCON cup has eluded us for far too long. Let's support our Black Stars. pic.twitter.com/dB4sRiTICp
