Ghana coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor has officially signed a two-year contract to head the senior national team.
It is believed that, Akonnor who was appointed as Kwasi Appiah’s replacement at the expiration of his contract was working without a contract.
But according Kumasi based Fox FM, the former Asante Kotoko gaffer has signed on the dotted lines to lead the Black Stars for the next years.
He is expected to transform the senior national team, and guide the Black Stars to win the African Cup of Nations trophy that has eluded the country for the past 38 years.
He must also qualify Ghana to the 2022 world cup in Qatar.
Akunnor guided the porcupine warriors into the group stage of the CAF Confederations cup for the first time in a decade.
