After seeing his side crush out of the CAF Confederation Cup, Asante Kotoko coach C K Akonnor is expecting the immediate return of the domestic league.
The coach also pointed out that, lack of domestic league may have played a role in his team’s exit in the competition.
“We have to go back home and reorganise ourselves.
“It’s important we start the league. The inability of the league not going on is a major problem.
“I will love us to continue with bit of competition and that the team can be ongoing.
“But if we go back and within a week or two weeks and the league is not going on is going to be a problem for us,” he noted.
The Ghana Premier League has been halted since June 218 following the release of the Anas #12 Expose.
