Raja Casablanca coach Juan Carlos Garrido has expressed his disappointment after Aduana Stars strike late to deny his side a famous victory in the CAF Confederation Cup Group A match day two at the NAB Park in Dormaa on Wednesday.
The former African giants were cruising to a 3-2 win but second half substitute Nathaniel Asamoah pulled even for the Ghanaian side with a fine finish late in the game.
”We were very close to winning the coach but I think in the last minute we got a draw. Of course we played to win but sometimes it happens and you don’t expect it and the last minute,” the former Villarreal coach said.
”They [Aduana] did well but we were not well in our reaction to the last goal. In this moment, it’s better to win obviously but it’s only two games [so no worries].
”We have more games, we have to play each other, we have to play the other teams.”
