Ahead of their return leg encounter with Nkana FC of Zambia, Asante Kotoko trainer CK Akonnor says he’s not overly worried by the absence of his skipper Amos Frimpong.
The hardworking skipper will be serving a one match ban following accumulation of yellow cards.
But Akonnor feels his absence will not be greatly felt on Sunday.
“Is unfortunate Amos won’t be available for us, he is a very important player but I think we have equally good players who will replace him,” he said on the team arrival from Zambia.
“I have Darkwah and Abass who are all left-backs and can play in that position so I believe that will be sorted.”
Asante Kotoko will host the Zambians on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. They lost to the same opponents last week in Kitwe.
Meanwhile, Nkana FC will be without Ghanaian defender Richard Ocran, who was red carded following a foul on striker Sogne Yacouba.
