Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban was in action for Trabzonspor as they sealed a 3-1 away win over Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
Ekuban returned from injury to help his side secure all three points at the Turk Telecom Stadium, having missed last weeks 1-1 draw against Ankaragucu.
The visitors took the lead in the 41st minute thanks to a well-taken penalty from captain Jose Sosa.
Sosa turned provider for Filip Novak in the 70th minute to help Trabzonspor race to a two-goal lead.
Gala halved the deficit through Cote d’Ivoire star Jean Seri, who beat goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir from the penalty spot.
Two minutes later, Trabzonspor regained their two-goal advantage courtesy of Alexander Sorloth with the last kick of the encounter.
Ekuban was replaced in the 85th minute by Bilal Basackoglu after a scintillating performance.
Trabzonspor are now 2nd on the league table with 61 points, just two points adrift leaders ?stanbul Ba?ak?ehir FK after 30 matches played thus far.
The 26-year-old has made 29 appearances in all competitions for Trabzonspor, scored nine goals and provided nine assists.
