Former head coach of Asante Kotoko, Isaac Adade aka Opeele says Cameroon is likely to defeat Ghana today in the semifinals of the ongoing 2017 Afcon in Gabon.Opeele speaking on Asempa FM, said everything surrounding today’s game favours Cameroon.
“Everything about today’s game favours Cameroon. Cameroon on record, has not lost to any West African country at the semifinals of any Afcon tournament. The Indomitable Lions have also not lost a competitive match in Gabon”, he said.
“Cameroon has also shown character. They demonstrated they can get results when they decide to get them. They showed that against Guinea Bissau and also, against Senegal. Ghanaians must pray earnestly to God for a change in the results”, he added.
Ghana must beat Cameroon to be able to qualify for the finals to meet Egypt, who defeated Burkina Faso 4-3 on penalties, after Burkina Faso had dominated the game.
