Celta Vigo returned to form following their unexpected three-goal loss to Leganes last week, narrowly defeating Getafe in a match that became surprisingly close towards the end.
The Galician team quickly took control, with Iago Aspas delivering an excellent cross that bypassed the entire Getafe defense and goalkeeper David Soria, allowing Anastasios Douvikas to score with a simple header into an open net.
Celta began to create some promising plays, looking to exploit the spaces behind Getafe's defensive pressure. Oscar Mingueza came close to scoring after a long ball, but his attempt went just wide of the post.
