Ghana Beach Soccer giants, Sunset Sports Keta on behalf of their partners Sandlanders Football have presented some hand washing materials and locally made face mask to traders in the Keta market in support of the fight against the Covid19 pandemic.
The items presented to the Assembly man of Keta Central Hon. Akorli James Ocloo and the Market Queen Mrs. Beatrice Mensah included Veronica Buckets, Paper Towels, Liquid Soaps, Hand-washing Bowls and Face Masks.
Making the presentations, CEO of Sunset Sports Keta, Dzidodo Ruben Adjahoe stated that their support is geared towards supporting preventing protocols outlined by health professionals in the fight against the pandemic. He also explained that if the community is to remain safe, every stakeholder must make a contribution in these difficult times.
“We all have to support this fight against Covid19 because if we are to return to our daily lives, then we will need our communities to be safe. Our health officials have outline protocols we must observe in this fight and in a previous visit, the market queen told us they do not have enough buckets to cover the entire market and that is the reason we felt compelled to offer our widows might”.
The Assemblyman and the Market queen expressed gratitude to the donors and both promised to continue to support the two organizations especially when they showed the have the community at heart in these difficult times.
