The National Sports Authority (NSA) is carrying out fumigation exercise across the various stadia in the country as part of measures to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
Director-General of the NSA Professor Twumasi told Happy FM that the exercise which began in Accra will be moved to the other regions.
“We are going to fumigate our venues in the country. We just finished with the Accra Sports Stadium and we will move to the other regions”, he told Happy FM.
He added that the NSA is also maintaining the various venues to ensure they are ready when football returns.
“We are maintaining the pitches to ensure the facilities are in good shape before football returns”
