Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Perry Curtis Kwabla Okudzeto has recounted the impact of Coronavirus on the ministry.
According to him, the ministry’s revenue has been heavily affected due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic that has wrecked the world.
The pandemic has led to the suspension of all football related activities in the country following the ban on all social gatherings by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on the effect of the virus on the sports ministry, he said, “The impact has been serious in the sense that, we as ministry and the sports industry in general, it is the activities that goes on in the sector that generate incomes for us”
“With the shutting down of all sporting activities, clearly there is no revenue going to come in from the various facilities” he told Accra based Happy FM.
