Former Berekum Chelsea coach Hans Van der Pluijm has made a shocking revelation about the transfer activity in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM, the Dutch tactician said 9the big clubs in the country often get their signings wrong because journalists with selfish interests have been recommending and pushing their players”.
He also lamented the lack of respect for managers in the West African country and accused Ghanaian clubs of interference.
The 71-year-old who currently plies his trade in Tanzania with Azam FC, therefore, said that he is not interested in coaching again in Ghana but may consider the technical director role.
Pluijm has vast knowledge about Ghana football having coached Ashgold, then Gold fields twice in 1998 to 2001 and 2004 to 2005.
He also had stint with Hearts of Lions, Kesben FC, Feyenoord Academy, Berekum Chelsea and SC Medeama.
