Eleven Wonders FC made it three straight wins in the premiership when they pipped Medeama SC 1-0 at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman on Sunday.
The hosts made one change in their starting lineup from the team that played Inter Allies FC last Wednesday as Kwaku Adu returned from suspension.
Medeama SC made no changes in the team which played against Elmina Sharks FC in the midweek.
The newcomers earned from their early dominance to open the scoring in the 17th minutes after Alex Asamoah got his name on the score sheet.
He beautifully connected home a pass from Abdul Wahab.
The premier league newbies tried getting a second but all attempts couldn't get in.
Medeama SC on very few occasions threatened the home side but Eleven Wonders FC made sure they keep a clean sheet for the first time this season.
Eleven Wonders FC will be travelling to Elmina Sharks FC in the next round whereas Medeama SC stay at the Tarkwa Na Aboso park to host leaders Ashanti Gold SC next Saturday.
