A plush bus to convey players of Elmina Sharks to and from match venues has been handed to the team by the club’s owner, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom in fulfilment of his promise to boost the morale of the players ahead of the new season.
With the hope of finishing among the top four teams ahead of the 2017/2018 league season, the luxurious bus comes handy in the wake of the ‘Botweaku Mba’ determination of avoiding last season’s inconsistent results that almost plunged the team into relegation.
Elmina Sharks initially struggled to find their composure in the competition, forcing them to dispense with the services of current head in charge of youth development at the club, Coach Kobina Amissah for Coach Yaw Acheampong, who safely steered them out of relegation zone finishing in ninth place on the league table.
Haven’t employed the services for former Black Stars striker, Kim Grant as Technical Director of the team, Elmina Sharks are expected by the club owner, to make themselves one of the toughest teams to beat in the Ghana Premier League.
