Head coach of Elmina Sharks Yaw Acheampong has revealed that his outfit will augment their squad for the second face of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season with three new players.
Following the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus, all football related activities have been halted with Ghana no exception.
Despite the suspension of football, Premier League clubs have begun to strengthen their teams before the league resumes.
“We have captured three new players ahead of the second round of the league. We have secured the signature of three new players but I can’t disclose their names now”
“At this point, I can’t talk much about football because we are all fighting against the deadly coronavirus. We will announce the signing of these players at appropriate time” he told Footballghana.com in an interview.
Elmina Sharks sits 5th on the league table with 25 points after 15 games.
