Former Asante Kotoko striker Songne Yacouba is set to join Kenya Premier League giants AFC Leopards ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The 28-year-old is currently without a club after failing to sign a contract extension with Asante Kotoko.
AFC Leopards have reached an agreement with his representative of over a possible switch in the coming days.
"It's true that our outfit has been talking to the representatives of him [Songne Yacouba]," an insider of AFC Leopards told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.
"He's a good player that any club will be glad to have in his squad. We are in advanced talks with them"
"We monitored him during the CAF Confederation Cup last season with his club. He will be a good addition to our team"
He has also been linked with a move to several clubs including Simba SC, Nkana FC, Zesco United, Al Hilal, Zamalek, Al Ahly, and others.
