Ghana coach Otto Addo believes the Black Stars' failure to win home games has cost them a spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
After a 1-1 draw with Angola in their penultimate qualifier, Ghana's hopes were dashed. Heading into the game, the team needed a win against Angola and Niger to stay in contention, but missed opportunities at home proved costly.
Addo emphasized the importance of winning home games in AFCON qualifiers, noting that away wins are tougher due to the strength of host nations.
Ghana now sits 4th in Group F with two points, marking the first time in 21 years they will miss the tournament.
