Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman has addressed fans’ frequent questions about his return to the Black Stars, from which he’s been absent since September 2023 after receiving boos during a match against the Central African Republic.
Head coach Otto Addo noted that this affected Rahman and his family, contributing to his decision to step back.
Speaking to the BBC, Rahman emphasized his need to focus on health, following years of injury struggles, including two ACL tears that sidelined him for nearly three years.
He expressed a desire to enjoy club football before resuming international play, hoping his national career will continue when he’s fully ready.
