Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored his debut goal for Trelleborgs FF in their 2-1 home victory over Vasteras SK in the Swedish Superettan.
Mattias Hakansson broke the deadlock early in the game before Safiu registered his name on the scoresheet on the stroke of half time.
The visitors pulled one back in the second half but in the end it proved to be only a consolation goal.
Safiu moved to the second-tier club on loan from Asante Kotoko a fortnight ago.
Trelleborgs FF now lie 11th on the table with 27 points after 22 games in the season.
