Chief Executive Officer of New Edubiase FC, Abdul Salam Yakubu has called on GHALCA chairman Cudjoe Fianoo to reject the appointment by Government to be part of the IMC to run Ghana football.
The outspoken football administrator stressed that Fianoo will betray the Association should he accept the role.
“If Fianoo accepts this government appointment, then he has betrayed we the football people. He has not met with anyone about this government appointment. He didn’t say a word when we met last week, he has to reject it,” Yakubu told Happy FM.
“Government should have asked us to give them a representation as football people. No football person will agree to this list on the committee. I don’t think anybody will agree to work with them. We are not ready to meet them”,
GHALCA will meet on Monday to discuss about the recent developments within the association and Ghana football as a whole.
