South African sports journalist, Robert Marawa has emphasized that football in its entirety will not be the same when the Coronavirus (Covid-19) storm finally passes.
The world’s most loved sport has been hit by the Coronavirus pandemic which has halted most of the football leagues since March.
Though some of the leagues have made a return, it is not being played the same as it has been done in the past.
Knowing the situation and impact the Coronavirus has had on the world, Robert Marawa says everything about football will not be the same when the war against the disease is won.
“There is no way that football as we’ve known it – from the laws of the game to its presentation – will ever be the same”, Sportscaster said in an interview with Joy FM.
As of Tuesday, May 18, 2020, the total number of confirmed cases of the Covid-19 stands at 4.81 million.
There has been 1.79 Million recoveries but sadly more than 319,000 people have lost their lives.
