Member of the Normalisation Committee Lawyer Kofi Duah Adonten has assured Ghanaians that the committee will do their utmost best to ensure football work again.
The FIFA delegation which consisted of acting CAF 1st Vice President, Amaju Pinnick, Mr. Veron Mosengo Omba, FIFA’s Director for Member Associations and Mr Nicola Luca, FIFA Manager for Member Associations, announced the names of the Normalisation Committee members at the premises of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday morning.
The committee includes Dr. Kofi Amoah a business mogul, Lucy Quist- former C.E.O of Airtel Ghana, Lawyer Duah Adonten and Naa Odofoley Nortey.
The Normalisation Committee will run Ghana football for the next six months after the country’s football hit crisis level.
"Our mandate is to make Ghana football work again after what has happened. We have no business but to do our best and make the football great again," Lawyer Adonten told Oyerepa FM.
"Many have argued about my involvement in football, they only know about Asante Kotoko where I was a board member under Dr. K.K Sarpong and also an Accra rep some time ago."
"I initiated women Football in Ghana and has been part of sub-committees of the GFA."
"We will meet soon to start work. All we will need is the prayers of Ghanaians and we promise to make Ghana work again."
