Former Asante Kotoko Eric Bekoe has thrown weight behind the club's Executive Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei who has come under criticisms for mismanagement.
Dr Kwame Kyei has been criticized for his poor handling of Kotoko's transfer business with Esperance which resulted in a $240,000 fine being imposed on the club by world football governing body, FIFA.
The life Patron of Kotoko Otumfuo Osei Tutu II following recent happenings has formed a three-member committee to investigate the club.
“I have not taken money from Dr Kwame Kyei but whatever be the case we have to support him so he can accomplish he visions for the club”
“Personally, I can’t blame him for recent Kotoko issues because he is a man that loves the club and has ordered people to take care of certain positions. The truth is that he is not god to see everything and that is why he has delegated some of his powers to people”
“So if things are not going on well for the club, there should be an auditor to audit so we can know where exactly the problem is” he told Vision FM.
