GFA President Kurt Okraku has revealed his outfit is currently studying five proposals on electronic ticketing system that will allow fans to purchase tickets online in the forthcoming 2019/20 season.
The FA chief announced this latest development during the maiden edition of GFA meet the press series currently ongoing at the Conference Room of Exim Bank in Accra.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands once one of the proposals is approved, fans can purchase tickets for the match online using visa and master cards and also all mobile money options (MTN, Tigo Cash, Vodafone Cash).
The biggest selling point of an electronic system is the fact it would significantly reduce corrupt tendencies surrounding gate proceeds, something which should make Ghanaian clubs lobby for a wider introduction of such a service.
But if you are just tired of jostling in queues at the various match venues across the country, this is a welcome development.
