President of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee Dr Kofi Amoah has claimed that the $6500 he takes at the end of the month as president of the committee is too small for him, describing it as ‘national service" allowance’
The Normalization Committee had earlier claimed they were doing a sacrificial job which earns them no financial rewards.
But strenuous investigations by the media revealed the committee members earn $4000 a month with the president of the committee taking $6500.
Dr Kofi Amoah who failed to deny the report claimed the money is even small considering the work he’s doing for the committee.
“If it was because of money, I wouldn’t have accepted the job. I did it because it’s service to the nation,” he told Adom TV.
“I’m not bluffing but even $50,000 wouldn’t be enough,” he added.
The posture of the President of the NC is seen as a gross display of arrogance which has already been pointed out by many stakeholders since the appointment of the committee.
With the GFA accounts already bleeding and Dr Kofi Amoah claiming ?31,850($6500) is a peanut of payment for him, many sense that the businessman could end up milking the accounts of the FA dry before their tenure expires.
