Former Executive Board Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Dr. Desmond Kofi Koduah Sarpong will head a five-member management team to lead the Black Stars to the 2019 AFCON in Egypt, the GFA Normalization Committee has confirmed.
The GNPC boss will be deputized by the Hon. Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Perry Okudzeto.
Other members of the committee are former Ghanaian footballer, Ibrahim Sunday, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye and Madam Abena Osei Asare.
The committee will among other things, supervise the activities of the Black Stars, and collaborate with the technical team to facilitate all arrangements to ensure the team gets the best of preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Ghana have already qualified for the 2019 AFCON following a ban on Sierra Leone despite having a game in hand with Kenya.
