The president of the Ghana Olympic Committe (GOC) Mr Ben Nunoo Mensah has seen off the president of the Ghana football Association at the Kotoka international airport.
Kurt E.S Okraku is on his way to Egypt to lend support to the Black Meteors team who are on the cusp of making history with a win away from reaching the elusive Olympic games in Tokyo.
Prior to the African U-23 Afcon, the GOC made a cash donation of $8000 to the Black Meteors team to aid their quest for qualification to the Olympic games.
President Nunoo Mensah also sent his well wishes to the Black Meteors team who will come up against West African neighbours Ivory Coast on Tuesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
