Turkish giants Galatasaray have tabled 8 million euros to sign Ghana youth striker Benjamin Tetteh this transfer window.
But Tetteh’s parent club Sparta Prague has rejected that amount.
The Yellow-Reds are keen to bolster their strike force with the 6ft 4in centre forward.
Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim is understood to be a fan and has earmarked the young Ghanaian as his No 1 option for this window.
Tetteh was in top-form before the winter break after scoring nine goals in 15 league appearances.
He has been likened to former Chelsea star and retired Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba because of his playing style.
