Ghana’s George Darko defeated Charles Kodjo in the ongoing ITF 1&2 Fixtures in Nigeria on Sunday.
The Ghanaian secured a 2 sets to 1 result against his Beninoise counterpart in a game played in Lagos.
Darko is looking to improve his ranking in the ITF standings with the hope of winning the tournament which has a $15000 prize money at stake.
The Ghanaian suffered a massive disappointment earlier this year with the rest of his Black Rackets team that crashed out of the Davis Cup staged in Egypt.
