The ex-Fulham rearguard is in line to feature against Bidvest Wits on Wednesday after sorting out his papers.
Ghana defender John Paintsil has secured his much-awaited work visa paving way for him to earn his debut with Maritzburg United.
The veteran guardsman, who joined the South African top-flight side a few months ago from National First Division side Santos, is in line to feature against Bidvest Wits on Wednesday.
According to KickOff, the manager of the Team of Choice Quinton Jetto has confirmed that all their foreign players - including Mike Mohammed and Terrance Mandaza - have been cleared to travel with the team to Johannesburg, where they will face the Students at Bidvest Stadium.
“John Paintsil's papers have been sorted out. All our foreign players have their papers sorted out and are available for selection,” Jetto said.
The Ghana international previously played for Fulham, West Ham and Hapoel Tel Aviv among other clubs.
