The MP for South Tongu, Kobena Woyome says Ghana is not prepared to host the Africa Women Championship next year.
The opposition member of parliament says the decision not to include the country's hosting of the women's continental event shows there is no interest at the governmental level.
He said since the country won the bid, nothing has been heard of it.
Mr. Woyome who was contributing to the debate on the approval of the 2018 budget said he has been taken aback by the silence of government on the hosting of the tournament in the budget.
