Ghanaian rapper Medikal is set to headline Legon Citie FC’s home league encounter against Bechem United on Match Week 6 of the Ghana Premier League.
The AMG boss with hit tracks like ‘Too Risky’ and ‘Omo Ada’ will perform at the game which kicks off on Friday January 24 at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off slated for 6pm (GMT).
The move forms part of initiatives employed by ‘The Royal’ to add euphoria to their home matches as they consciously embark on an agenda to use music to amass following.
So far they have used Ghana’s top dance-hall act Shatta Wale and Afro-beats blockbuster Kwesi Arthur for home matches against Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold Sc respectively.
Legon Cities have admiringly wowed Ghana football followers with such ingenuity most especially on social media and seem not to be slowing don anytime soon.
Despite their winnings on social media they are however yet to in a league game and currently lie a spot above the relegation zone with just 3 points after 5 matches.
Its the "Weekend Warmer" at the Accra Sports Stadium as we play host to Bechem United..We will surely cover ourselves in glory with a first win of the season...#ComeonRoyals #legoncitiesfc #legoncitiesFB #WeDeliver #ghanapremierleague pic.twitter.com/uG0BDf0chX
