Ghanaian striker Kwesi Appiah has parted ways with the English third-tier AFC Wimbledon following the expiration of his contract.
Appiah ended his three-year stint with the club by confirming his exit on Twitter.
The 2019/20 English third-tier league season has ended abruptly due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 29-year-old joined AFC Wimbledon on a free transfer after ending his stay with Crystal Palace in 2017.
He made 23 appearances for Wimbledon this season, scored four goals and provided one assist.
He has previously featured for clubs such as Notts County, Aldershot Town, Cambridge United, Reading FC, Yeovil Town, and Norwegian side Viking FK.
Appiah earned his debut call-up to the Black Stars for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations where he helped the West African nation to win silver medal.
He has scored twice in his seven appearances for the Black Stars of Ghana.
