Fans of Ebusua Dwarfs were stunned upon hearing that the woes of their beloved club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League stems from bickering over girlfriend snatching amongst the players.
The Crabs are enduring one of their worst seasons in the Ghanaian top-flight after thirteen round of matches.
The Cape Coast-based outfit are sitting 16th place on the league standings with 11 points from 13 games, three points adrift of safety.
After collecting just one victory in their last five matches, management called for a crisis meeting ahead of their midweek clash against King Faisal Babies.
And Just when you thought you have heard and seen it all, some of the players told management that some colleagues have snatched their girls-friends and as a results they don't give their rivals accurate passes during matches.
The players also indicated that this has brought faction in the team and most of them are at loggerheads.
This has killed the team spirit among the playing body in the club.
Cape-Coast based senior journalist posted on his Facebook page: ''I was so surprise to hear that fighting over women by Ebusua Dwarfs players is the cause of their poor performance in the Ghana Premier League .
''At the meeting yesterday some players told management that some colleagues have snatched their girls friends as a results they don't give their rivals accurate passes during matches.
''They also averred that this has brought faction in the team and most of them are at loggerheads. This has killed the team spirit among the playing body in the club.''
