WAFA goalkeeper Richmond Ayi has mutually left the Ghana Premier League club after two years of service.
The former Techiman City goalkeeper has ended his stay with the club after a two year stint with the Sogakope -based club.
“I have ended my contracts with WAFA. I want to thank the management of the club, the technical team and the playing body for helping me throughout my stay at the club. Is time to move on and explore other opportunities,” he told FootballmadeinGhana.com
Ayi,21, was brought on to replace Razak Abalora who moved to Azam FC two seasons ago and went on to establish himself as number one goalkeeper.
According to reports, the goalie who had gone ahead to become a pillar for the club had to leave following their club's decision not to hand him an improved deal.
Ayi is reported to be on the radar of some to clubs in Africa as well as some European clubs.
