Turkish Super Lig side Goztepe are making plans to sign Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey according to reports from Fotomac.
Amartey joined the Foxes in January 2016 and was part of the side that defied all odds to win the Premier League title. He has however struggled to get some game time after that season mainly because of injuries.
His last appearance for the club came against West Ham United two years ago. According to the reports, he is open to the idea of going out on loan. A permanent deal is however not on the cards at the moment.
He is currently behind the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Tielemans and others in the pecking order. The Ghanaian has grown increasingly frustrated with his lack of action.
The 25-year-old featured more regularly during the 2016/17 term following the departure of N’Golo Kante to Chelsea. He made 24 Premier League appearances that campaign and also played eight Champions League games for the club.
