Great Olympics Board Chairman, Mr. Amarkai Amarteifio, has pleaded with all stakeholders in the club to come together to help promote unity and help in the success of the club.
Olympics celebrated their 66th anniversary on Monday and Mr. Amarteifio wished the supporters a happy anniversary and reiterated the importance of unity among the Olympics family as key to the success of the club.
The Accra based side who won the Ghana Premier League titles in 1970 and 1974, and three-time FA Cup winners, remain one of the oldest traditional clubs in the top flight.
"Today April 21, marks the 66th anniversary of the founding of Accra Great Olympics. While asking for God’s blessings for the souls of our great founders, I wish to use the occasion to wish our playing body, technical team, directors, management, and our loyal supporters a happy anniversary.
"I ask all family members of Olympics to stay united and focused only on issues that will enhance the fortunes of the Wonder Club," he said.
"My advice to them is to keep safe and to take good care of themselves by observing all the safety measures of the government in these difficult days of COVID-19."
