Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has disclosed that Erling Haaland's move to Borussia Dortmund has motivated everyone at the club.
Ashimeru is enjoying his best season in Austrian Bundesliga with RB Salzburg and won his first trophy with the club a fortnight ago but the club's recent transfer inspires his dream of playing for a bigger club.
The league leaders are revered for producing some of the best players in the world, after unearthing the likes of Sadio Mane, Naby Keita, Takumi Minamino, and now Haaland.
"His move has motivated everyone at the club," Ashimeru told Joy Sports.
"For the past few years when you look at the players they produced to the big clubs, it's amazing, and this is something that motivates me," he added.
"I know if I work hard I will get this opportunity, so it is something that motivates me and also the people here. When I work hard the chances will come because it is a great club.
"It is really a developmental club and when you are here you will be very well developed."
The Ghanaian midfielder has made 16 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg and scored two goals this season.
